Join us to grow your career in behavioral healthcare, learn new skills, and make a positive impact for our clients every day. We are seeking talented and motivated Residential Counselors to join our new Youth Community Crisis Stabilization (YCCS) program.
YCCS offers an alternative to emergency room treatment and inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Rather, clients are served by our community-based program that provides medically necessary, less-restrictive, and voluntary models of care. The program offers two units: one for latency-age children, and another serving adolescents up to and including 18 years of age.
Opportunities are available for all shifts, and for Residential Counselor (Crisis Unit) levels I & II; competitive compensation to align with level of prior experience. Available shifts include: Evening, Awake Overnight. Robust training program, and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Direct Care Staff are directly responsible for delivering the highest quality daily care and creating a safe environment for Italian Home for Children clients. Direct Care Staff will support clients in reaching their full potential through providing positive and nurturing relationships and a stable, consistent, and structured living environment for the duration of their stay. Our approach to care offers clients the opportunity to learn new coping skills and to replace maladaptive behaviors with more appropriate strategies. Direct care staff also model empathy, kindness, and patience for the youth and families that we serve.
