Wisconsin Spice is seeking an experience Human Resources professional for our Berlin, Wisconsin location.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
– Overseeing recruitment efforts of all exempt, non-exempt, and temporary employees; ensure company staffing requirements are maintained
– Developing and/or maintaining cost effective and efficient recruitment sources including advertising, job fairs and other resources
– Conducting employee interviews, background checks, and pre-employment/pre-placement orientation
– Managing employee on-boarding, orientation, and benefits enrollment
– Assisting with current, and former, employee personnel files related to, but not limited to, wages, performance appraisal, personal development, benefits enrollment, training registers, time-off tracking, attendance tracking, and discipline
– Assisting the HR Manager and Department Supervisors in the employee counseling process; assisting and/or conducting internal investigations regarding employee conduct
– Monitoring and administering all human resource policies, programs, and continuous improvement projects
– Performing the company’s payroll and hours tracking
– Issuing employee notices and communication as necessary
– Implementing and executing the company’s designated benefits package, including, but not limited to, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, STD, LTD, and 401(K)
– Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state labor law requirements
– Acting as a liaison between employees, supervisors, and management; ensuring open communication
– Planning, participating, and executing in employee engagement activities
