Accepting application for a few awesome After-school Teachers. This position begins in August and continues through the school year. We have a successful small program, now going on 30 years inside an elementary school.

Duties:
- Provide supervision of children and facilities while program is in session.
- Lead a variety of activities for school-age program including outdoor/gym active group games as well as indoor projects such as arts & crafts, gardening, and more.
- Instruct, role model and provide positive social skills and behavior as per program philosophy and policies. Must be able to co-teach with other staff members.
- Follow daily curriculum. We offer Art, sports & homework help to all students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience with elementary school-age children as a lead teacher.
- And/Or: Bachelor’s degree from college or university with a major in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, recreation, Special education, or Early Childhood Education.
Required for all positions:
- You must be on the Oregon Criminal Registry database
- Child CPR and First Aid Standard Certification within 30 days of hire
- Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire.
- Be at least 18 years of Age.
Hours of Work:
- Hours are from 2:45 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and occasional subbing. Closed for winter & Spring break.
