BRC Hiring for HR Specialist – 131 West 25th Street Job at Manhattan Full Time

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with various functions of the Human Resources department. This includes but is not limited to: Assist with the administration of all benefits. Conduct benefits orientations for new employees. Provide support to employees and managers regarding ADP system. Assist with recruitment and processing new hires as needed. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits. Effectively communicate HR policies and practices. Verify employment for current and past employees. Assist with incident and accident reporting and follow up with insurance brokers and adjusters. Assist with data entry to HRIS. Assist with health fairs, benefit fairs, and other events. Assist with special projects. Perform clerical functions including photocopying, faxing, scanning and filing. Related duties as assigned.

HOURS:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:
BA and/or background in human resources required. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer competency in Microsoft Office.
