IEM is the largest independent full-line manufacturer of electrical distribution and control systems in North America. The Company has developed one of the most sophisticated electrical product manufacturing systems in the world and has cultivated partnerships with leading component suppliers resulting in optimal solutions to customer problems.
The coordinator will work with field service management, IEM sales and Field Service Techs to ensure that all Field Service Requests are satisfactorily fulfilled and closeout documentation is provided.
In addition, the coordinator will assist with the operations of a growing Field Service office. They will be responsible for shipping/receiving and with replenishing a supply of parts and materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Field Service Support Functions:
· Assist in scheduling available field resources by confirming start and milestone dates with work site points of contact.
· Work with Site Superintendents and Field Service Leads to ensure that technicians have all parts, test equipment and documentation needed to fulfill work orders.
· Ensure that every Field Trip Request gets closed out properly.
· Make travel arrangements as required for field personnel.
· Update project databases and scheduling calendars.
· As directed by Field Service Manager attend project construction and commissioning meetings on an as needed basis.
· Proactively identify areas of improvement and work with management to continuously improve our processes.
· Track completion of startup documents and deliver to customer in advance of due date.
· Assist with data entry as needed within our project management software.
· Review technician parts request forms for accuracy and completeness before sending to commercial sales for fulfillment.
· Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.
Warehouse Functions:
· Handle shipping and receiving to/from the field service office of IEM.
· Maintain critical parts inventory.
· Coordinate via RMA on processing of returns for repairs, replacement, or credit.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a coordinator, planner or warehouse supervisor.
· Previous Field Service administration experience, knowledge and understanding is a plus.
· Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
· Ability to interact directly with customers, sales, management, technicians, QC and shop personnel.
· Excellent written and oral communications skills
· Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
· Previous experience with Procore or other project management software is a plus.
