We are looking for an experienced IT Network Administrator to help assist in overseeing all IT (Information Technology) functions in our company. You will assist in managing the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. An excellent IT Manager is very knowledgeable in IT and computer systems. They have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet objectives. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company. This position will require some after-hours, on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, & printers
• Monitoring and maintaining both client and server computer systems and networks
• Virtual Server maintenance and Router/switch configuration
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support for both our local manufacturing and distribution facilities as well as remote support for Sales and Marketing team members
• Setup and management of accounts for all users on both our local network and online through our Office 365 service provider.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Assisting with the implementation of new technology throughout the organization and performing appropriate training with affected team members
• Keeping current systems updated and running smoothly
• Upgrading computer systems and their components as needed
• Phone System Administration and Maintenance
• Assisting with the documentation of the network and related systems
• Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software
• Control budget and report on expenditure
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
• Support the daily operations of the IT department
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field; or equivalent Industry Certifications
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Having a working knowledge of common desktop operating systems and technologies
• Extensive NetSuite experience preferred
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high customer service standards
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a general audience
• Troubleshooting common IT problems
• Physical capacity for lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
