This position is a high priority for our District for
the 2022-2023 year and is contingent
upon continued available district, grant and state funding.

The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Senior
Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Human Resources department.
Salary Placement:Â Â Â
This 12-month
Classified Administrator position will be placed on Range 11 of the Administrator Salary Schedule. Step placement
is based on experience. Initial salary step placement for new employees
is customarily at step 1, 2, or 3 ($8,639.00 / $8,769.00
/ $8,900.00 per month) of this 20-step salary range. If the Administrator has served at least 75% of a fiscal
year in their
position, the Administrator will move to the next Step on their Range
on July 1st each year, pending a positive performance
evaluation. All administrators are on an
employment contract and exempt from overtime and compensatory time accumulation.

“BIG PICTURE” RESPONSIBILITY:
Reporting to and under the direction of the Assistant
Superintendent/Vice President,
Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing the
recruitment
efforts and practices for the College. The Talent Acquisition Specialist
devises strategy and recruitment process as well as actual
execution of the sourcing
and recruiting campaigns. Works independently as well as in a team environment. Performs
job analysis,
develops new and revises existing class descriptions and performs other
duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Successful
completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Four (4) years of
full-time equivalent experience in talent sourcing, acquisition
and recruiting.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Sedentary position requires use of a computer and related equipment for extended
periods
of time; frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; communicating
and providing information to others;
work outside on all parts of the campus and in
varying weather conditions. In the event of an emergency, employees will be relied
upon to serve as emergency service workers.
