Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview:

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work out of our office located in West Metro Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities:

• Upload purchase orders/invoices from field locations
• Code and process invoices for payment
• Record credit card purchases
• Record weekly bank eft’s
• Verify accuracy of accounting documents
• Any additional projects that may arise
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skill, and the ability to adapt quickly to meet changing deadlines and priorities are key in this position
• Must be able to demonstrate professional written and verbal communications skills as this position will interact with individuals both internally and externally

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will possess at least 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable.
• Knowledge with Subcontractors and retainage processing a plus
• Previous experience with Foundation Software a plus but not required.
• Must possess and be able to demonstrate knowledge of accounting theory, terminology, and practices
• Must be a team player and have the willingness to help in any area when the need arises.
