Ag Processing Inc Hiring for Material Handler Job at Hastings, NE Full Time

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently seeking a full time Material Handler to join our team in Hastings, NE! This person will be responsible for loading/unloading of bulk materials, rail yard switching duties and vacation relief. Employees will perform other tasks relating to shipment of products, including gauging or sampling materials for quality, as well as testing shipping tanks for leaks.

Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles. Weighs incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Operates vehicles and moves controls and observes gauges to measure, mix, and regulate chemical, liquid, or bulk solids transfer.
• Cleans and maintains material handling equipment.
• Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
• Maintains inventory, records and location of equipment and materials moved.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must be able to read and must have basic math skills.
• Skill in written and oral communication. Must be able to write legibly.
• Must be able to take initiative and be a team player.
• Must be able to understand and follow safety procedures.
