Job Description
Eastland Shoe Corp. is looking for full-time Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Freeport, Maine. The ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to listen effectively and provide accurate and timely information while working in a fast-paced and multi-faceted environment. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required.
Key Responsibilities Include
Receiving and addressing online customer and retailer requests using various forms of communication including phone, email, mail & e-commerce.
Assisting national retail customers in conjunction with key account reps and Customer Service Manager by answering questions, receiving, and entering orders, handling shipping and receiving issues, addressing product questions, accurately providing information on delivery dates, and supplying stock availability to meet customer needs.
Keeping informed of product information to be able to respond to general product inquiries.
Interacting regularly with the Customer Service Manager and the Distribution Center to provide on-time shipping, handling, and routing of questions or problems.
Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with assigned accounts and online customers.
Understanding and interpreting periodic reporting tools such as Open Orders, Past Cancel, Held Order, and Incoming Shipment reports.
Performing other duties as required or assigned by the team’s Customer Service Manager.
Core Skills, Education & Experience
1+ years of experience in a business/customer service environment preferred.
Retail/Wholesale experience preferred.
High School Diploma required, Bachelor or Associate degree preferred.
