**The ECE/Young Toddler Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the developmental program goals of the center using a team approach, supervising the activities of the children, and maintaining strong and professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues. This role works in the 2-year-olds classroom.

Duties include:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental play-based emergent curriculum
• Supervise and provide guidance to children during daily activities
• Work well within a teaching team
• Build positive, professional relationships with families
• Attend and participate in regular meetings, professional development, and conferences

Qualifications:

• 24-semester units in Early Childhood Education – may also consider 12 units and enrolled based on experience.
• Infant Development course required for Infant/Toddler positions
• AA or BA degree preferred
• Direct teaching experience with young children in a childcare center setting

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:
• Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Early Childhood Development Certificate (Preferred)

Pay: $19 to $ 30/hr
