The Cloud Security Operations – Cloud Security Analyst (CSA), will be responsible for day-to-day management of the team’s cloud monitoring tool. The CSA will be responsible for the successful operation of a program which has global reach across all of our client’s business divisions and forms a critical component

of the Enterprise Cybersecurity program. The CSA will ensure our cloud security operations are running efficiently and that our cloud infrastructures remain secured. The role will require a self-starter with previous experience handling cloud security operations and working with cloud monitoring tools. The CSA should be capable of working in a complex process driven environment with significant on-premise and cloud footprint in what is a quality driven organization

working in a highly regulated industry. The CSA should be comfortable working in a matrix organization due to the global nature of the Security Operations programs.

Responsibilities:

• Build, configure and manage cloud infrastructures to drive the success of the organization’s cloud security programs
• Ensure the security of the enterprise’s cloud infrastructure by overseeing security groups and user access to the cloud environment
• Ensures the development of the cloud monitoring space in terms of capabilities and maturity
• Provide relevant cloud data to various stakeholders, interface into enterprise or cyber security initiatives ensuring quality of service to stakeholders
• Supports the organization’s move towards a safer cloud environment
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the cloud monitoring program for the cyber operations team within our client.
• Enterprise Cyber Security Point of Contact for other Divisional Cyber Security Teams in relation to the cloud monitoring program
• Provides relevant guidance for the integration of cloud assets

Essential Knowledge

• Knowledge of Cloud technologies, concepts and platforms, with practical hands-on experience on Cloud Platform including but not limited to Orca, Uptycs, Wiz and Palo Alto Prisma
• Working knowledge of configuration management, software provisioning and container technologies such as Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of software automation tools such as Git or Jenkins
• Network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).

• Must have experience in the provisioning, configuring, administration, automation, monitoring, and support for enterprise Cloud services
• Experience with various cloud solutions, AWS, GCP, Azure
• Planning: Create appropriate plans for reviewing cloud security policies and alerts to non-compliance
• Communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Able to explain security policy, best practice compliance alerts and remediation recommendations.
• Security: Ensure the security controls and alerts are implemented for each monitored

cloud instance

Experience and Education Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience working on cloud monitoring
• Previous successful projects within various cloud environments
• Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, EU DPD, HIPAA/HITECH
• Demonstrated experience of working in a Matrix organization covering differing geographic areas on time zones.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a timely manner and be able to meet assigned deadlines and

service levels.

• Must have strong time management skills and an ability to thrive in a high cadence operation
• Must work well within a tight-knit team environment and be able to work with peers, customers, and partners to support the mission.
