Remote 100%
Work schedule/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, 30-minute lunch break, 40 hours per week
Administrative Background, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in higher education, preferably in academic affairs or human resources related field.
Requirements and Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s degree
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in higher education, preferably in academic affairs or human resources related field. Experience working with faculty is required and in Higher Education is strongly preferred.
· Commitment to providing strong customer service to campus community.
· Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills are required.
· The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse constituency. Interest in academic affairs, human resources and university operations a plus.
· Ability to manage and prioritize incoming requests and see these requests through completion.
· Must be able to work in both current and future deadlines simultaneously, forward thinking.
· Overall responsibility for managing the faculty appointment and compensation processing for one or more areas on the Main Campus. Will serve as a resource for academic departments on faculty appointments, compensation and related policies.
· High level of communication and collaboration with campus administrators to assist with questions related processing faculty appointments and related work.
· Troubleshooting issues with faculty HR and payroll transactions that have not resulted successfully.
· Liaise colleagues in partner offices (payroll, benefits, dean’s offices) to ensure timely management of payroll and HR related issues.
· Will be required to analyze and understand complex policies and communicate to a broad community.
· Ad-hoc project work related to academic appointments, faculty payroll, and GMS (Workday)
· Occasionally required to move up to 10lbs of weight
