Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of ASU Rams Global, the Instructional Technologist oversees technical management, training, and support for ASURams Global learning technology initiatives. They will serve as a liaison with external consultants to achieve the objectives of the ASURams Global Connecting Minority Communities (CMC) grant. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth operation of technology provided to CMC grant end-users, configuring remote clients, diagnosing and troubleshooting technology issues, conducting software testing and installation, and implementing backup strategies using NAS and cloud technology. The role also involves providing critical technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for CMC grant end-users.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
5 years’ experience in instructional technology, information technology, and system support
Knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility guidelines
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and stay current in a rapidly changing field
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Proposed Salary
Salary range is from $37,000 to $55,000.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft O/S and applications, Apple O/S and applications, including iOS and Android.
Possess basic electronic repair skills.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills, with ability to take ownership and complete assigned tasks.
Analytical and detail oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
