Detailed Job Description:
This position manages the administrative, assessment, and reporting activities for all student emergency funds/grants administered by the Student Advocacy Center (SAC). This will include case management activities related to all emergency funds/grants, as well as processing confidential financial information. Provides complex office support to SAC team (e.g. elevated administrative support for office/front desk student employees, processing confidential materials, submitting maintenance, purchasing, and travel requests, providing general support to staff). This position will also support annual federal reporting responsibilities for the Clery Act and any other federal and state requirements. Assists in researching and writing grant proposals.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 2 years of relevant experience. Successful completion of a background check.
Knowledge of student advocacy, either through college coursework or experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Access, and Word; excellent verbal and written skills; strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; knowledge of university policies and procedures; knowledge of Clery Act reporting procedures; experience with university purchasing and e-request processes; experience using Maxient; ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community partners.
Targeted hiring range is $19.52 to 23.56 per hour.
