As the Residential Life Assistant Director, you play a pivotal role in shaping the Residential Education program. Your responsibilities include mentoring and developing team members, serving as a mentor and role model to our residential communities, and actively engaging with students through teaching and training/development.
You’ll collaborate with campus and community partners, demonstrating a commitment to the success of our residential communities. Lead a diverse team comprising master’s level professionals, administrative support staff, graduate assistants, and over 100 student staff members. Align departmental responsibilities with individual strengths, providing both direct and indirect supervision for optimal team performance.
Utilize assessment data to drive continuous improvement, actively collaborating with the senior leadership team to enhance our living-learning environment. Your role extends to on-call duty rotation, policy enforcement, crisis response, and a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
