The Office of Human Resources at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) invites applications for an
exciting opportunity for an experienced Staff Associate/Human Resources Manager:
The Human Resources Manager supports the Chief Human
Resources Officer (CHRO) in the areas of Staffing, Professional Development and Employee Relations. The HR Manager is responsible for all
aspects of recruitment including job postings, staff searches and onboarding of new employees, with strong consideration toward building a
diverse workforce reflective of our student body. Employee Relations includes interpreting and administrating staff collective bargaining
agreements (cba’s). With the CHRO, supports the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs in administrating the faculty cba.
Contributes to maintaining positive employee relations. Advises supervisors on employee relations and disciplinary issues to ensure
adherence to cba’s and federal and state employment regulations. Trains supervisors and employees in cba articles/provisions and other
topics. This position may also assist with other areas of HR (i.e.: special events and projects, etc.).

This is a full-time, benefited, non-unit
position. Salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000.
