Job Description:
The priority purpose of this position is to understand, explain, gather, and submit student and faculty clinical paperwork needed for all clinical sites and rotations in the nursing programs. Under Director’s guidance and direction, this position leads and provides oversight to the clinical-placement office’s onboarding team and provides effective assistance in administrative support to the Director of Clinical Placements.
Position Hourly Rate Range: $18.88 – $22.66
Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate’s qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Understand, explain, gather, submit, and monitor all student and faculty clinical on-boarding items required by clinical sites for all nursing program practicum groups.
2. Communicate with clinical agencies with regard to student and faculty paperwork, training, and expectations prior, during, and after the clinical assignments for all nursing programs as needed.
3. Collaborate with program leadership and support teams to develop and adhere to timeline of deadlines for clinical clearances in order for students and faculty to begin clinical practicums on time.
4. Supervise compliance-tracking coordinator and administrative assistant(s) to ensure timely completion of affiliated partners’ clinical on-boarding processes, by the established deadlines.
5. Coordinate with the programs regarding their clinical rosters and communicate deadlines for submission to the clinical placement team.
6. Support Compliance Tracking Coordinator with the electronic compliance tracking system and communicate needs to management.
7. Participate in presenting and explaining processes for clinical clearances through electronic compliance tracking system to students and faculty, e.g.. during new student orientations and video sessions.
8. Under director leadership, provides daily direction to the staff positions by leading twice daily team meetings.
9. Apply comprehensive understanding of health clearance requirements to support students and faculty in meeting affiliate deadlines.
10. Manage and follow through on clinical-compliance-platform-optimization work lists through collaboration with programs and contracted company’s resource teams.
11. Communicating to Clinical Placement leadership regarding any issues with the affiliate as it relates to faculty and students.
12. Attend and report on all affiliate meetings for updates related to nursing clinical placements.
13. Assist in the daily operations of the Clinical Placements Office.
14. Assist with the establishment of systems to streamline office flow, via use of cloud based filing systems, Microsoft Excel, TEAMS, and the Adobe Suite.
15. Prepare clinical-onboarding reports for data collection every semester.
16. Assist the dean and directors in the preparation of accreditation and regulatory materials, and in the accreditation and approval processes.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.
