Essential Job Duties:
The Graduate Student Services Coordinator (GSC) serves as the principal liaison between the student, the graduate program areas, and the university office including the Graduate School. Responsibilities include managing recruitment, student information, and applicant tracking.
The GSC will also maintain all student records for the department, and follow the students’ degree progress to prepare for successful completion and graduation.
The GSC will assist in special departmental events, e.g., graduation ceremonies, symposiums, search committees and open houses. Provide support and backup as past of the Graduate Service Coordinator Team.
Other Work/Responsibilities:
This position requires an on campus presence to effectively perform the essential duties of the position. As such, employees must reside within a commutable distance and must report to campus regularly to perform certain work-related tasks as a condition of employment.
Minimum Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
