Your opportunity:
This position provides an opportunity to join the Office of the Registrar and Student Services (ORSS)
at the Daniels Faculty. Reporting to the Registrar & Assistant Dean, Students, the Assistant Registrar, Research-based Programs is responsible for advising on admissions criteria, financial aid and academic matters for research based programs. The incumbent is expected to be innovative and pro-active in supporting the strategic direction of the Faculty through the provision of seamless and responsive services.
The incumbent is responsible for advising potential applicants, students, parents, and/or guidance counselors on admissions criteria and providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines for research based programs. The incumbent also advises students on financial aid and academic matters. The incumbent is responsible for tracking and monitoring the distribution of awards and the exam process.
This role is currently eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, pursuant to the University policies, including and not limited to University of Toronto’s Alternative Work Arrangements Guideline.

USW Pay Band 12 — $78,308 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $100,144. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
