Description:
The Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Professional Programs reports directly to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs playing a critical role in helping provide strategic, analytical, and operational leadership to ensure excellence in graduate and professional education. As Hofstra University grows into a dynamic and impactful R2 university, the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Professional Programs will be a visible advocate for the growth, quality and distinctive impact of graduate programs and graduate education. The Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Professional Programs fosters collaborative and productive relationships with the academic deans, graduate program directors, Graduate Admissions, faculty, graduate students, and external constituents. The successful candidate will be an experienced faculty member who has prior administrative experience and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate, with appropriate credentials, may be eligible for a tenured faculty position at Hofstra University.
