Job Description Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Research and Academic Officer and reporting to the Associate Director of Staffing and Recruiting in collaboration with the Department of Human Resources, this position will be responsible for advising and supporting managers on human resource actions and international appointments across multiple divisions in the Department of Medicine (currently Renal, Rheumatology, Cardio, PAIR, Pulmonary, EDM, TMHG, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, DGIM, and Central Medicine); developing procedures for onboarding new staff and delivering training as a subject matter expert; works closely with all areas of HR, the business offices and faculty.

Under the direction of the Chief Research and Academic Officer and reporting to the Associate Director of Staffing and Recruiting in collaboration with the Department of Human Resources, this position will be responsible for advising and supporting managers on human resource actions and international appointments across multiple divisions in the Department of Medicine (currently Renal, Rheumatology, Cardio, PAIR, Pulmonary, EDM, TMHG, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, DGIM, and Central Medicine); developing procedures for onboarding new staff and delivering training as a subject matter expert; works closely with all areas of HR, the business offices and faculty. Oversee visa application and renewal processes for these divisions. The successful candidate will also assist with the coordination of faculty actions (appointments, reappointments, promotions, etc.) and will assist with daily office operations including responding to inquiries and advising employees on Faculty, HR, School, and University policies and procedures.
