The Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy at Winthrop University is seeking an innovative and involved tenure-track assistant professor to teach in an experiential educator preparation program. The position includes teaching across undergraduate teacher certification programs as well as graduate teaching in programs that further credentials for practicing teachers. The position provides the opportunity to supervise graduate and undergraduate teacher candidates in field experiences and internships as well as teach early childhood and elementary education coursework, especially in the areas of science and mathematics methods. We seek a candidate who will be an exemplary teacher, scholar, and active participant in the college, on campus, and with community partners.

Employment Conditions:Position is full-time, nine-month, tenure-track with option of summer employment if enrollment is sufficient. ABD nearing dissertation completion may be considered at instructor level in a non-tenure track one-year position.
