Salary: $14.20 per hour

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a part-time Clerk at the Utica Campus Library. Main responsibilities involve operations at the circulation desk including providing high quality customer service to patrons; performing a variety of clerical and technical functions; staffing circulation desk; overseeing work of student assistants; charging out and monitoring use of study rooms; and assisting with any special projects as needed.
The hours for this part-time position are Tuesdays 12pm – 4pm, Thursdays 12pm – 4pm, and Fridays 12pm – 4pm. This position consists of a maximum of 17.5 hours per week and is mainly on the academic schedule when classes are in session.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Either:
(A) Graduation from high school or possession of high school equivalency diploma;
OR
(B) Two (2) years of experience – specifically library and/or customer service experience
Successful candidates should possess computer skills (basic operation, MS Office, navigating internet, etc.) and knowledge of other library-related technologies. Additional required qualifications include the ability to:
