Job Description
Assists Senior Director of Advancement Operations with overall advancement operations within Alumni and College Advancement. This includes a focus on database issues, reports, queries, and process improvements. Assists with/leads overall operations tasks and projects within the ACA. Assists with management and coordination of efficiency improvement efforts across all areas of advancement. This position is responsible for direct oversight of the Gifts and Records Assistant, the gift entry process, and oversight of the daily operations of the stewardship program.
Secondary responsibilities include assisting with the CRM and additional third-party software, including ensuring validity and quality of data and coordinating data flow between other systems and Raiser’s Edge.
The Associate Director will report to the Senior Director of Advancement Operations and will have contact with all constituents of the college.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work Relationships
Reports directly to the Senior Director of Advancement Operations. Daily contact with college staff; frequent contact with students, faculty and supporters of the College.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required with 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
Must have proficient computer skills with particular knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge of administrative databases such as Raiser’s Edge.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact professionally in person, in writing, and on the telephone. Editing and proofreading skills preferred.
Detail-oriented with knowledge of general office procedures and ability to use office equipment.
Organizational skills to handle several projects simultaneously. Be self-motivated, able to prioritize and meet deadlines, and have the ability to work both independently and in teams.
Must maintain confidentiality.
Fine finger movement is required computer use and filing, as well as reaching and grasping.
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily while seated in an open office environment.

The hiring pay range for the position is $37,000-$55,000.
