Job Description
Summary:
Penn Medicine, one of the world’s leading academic medical centers, is comprised of the Ivy-League Raymond and Ruth Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Ranked among the nation’s finest research-oriented medical schools and hospitals, Penn Medicine is home of many firsts in American medicine—from its founding as the country’s first school of medicine in 1765 to the first FDA-approved, revolutionary cell-based gene therapy for cancer. Its impact on Philadelphia communities, the nation, and global health echoes the philosophy of the University’s founder, Benjamin Franklin.
Penn Medicine’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations has a critical role in obtaining the resources that both maintain the institution’s current strength and support its vision for the future. This high-impact team consistently exceeds annual fundraising goals and has a level of alumni engagement that is the envy of peer institutions. We look for applicants who demonstrate imagination, collegiality, and persistence while keeping a clear eye fixed on our fundraising and engagement goals.
