People and Culture Business Partner
Job role
Reporting to the Executive Director of People and Culture, in this role you will Business Partner with
business unit(s) within the JSFC, help shape and deploy the People Strategy , lead the delivery of HR
programmes / projects and own some of the people related cyclical activities. The People and
Culture Business Partner will inspire engagement from JFSC people and help create a high
performance culture.

Your role and responsibilities
› Coach JFSC people and support them to live by the spirit of our Values, HR policies and procedures,
and perform at their best.
› Deploy a people centric approach to the employee lifecycle and identify and implement
improvements to ensure JFSC’s approach to people is progressive, inspiring and supports a high
performance culture.
› Support the Director of People and Culture in delivering the People Strategy, owning key
programmes.
› Analyse Management Information and share insights in order to support the Executive Board and
Senior Leadership Forum to understand their people; structure, sentiment, performance etc. in
order to drive positive change.
› Own the relationship with external suppliers to ensure performance standards are met and there’s
an effective working partnership.
› Provide well-constructed advice and solutions for employee relation issues.
› Provide a pro-active business partnering service to the organisation and building trust.
› Continually identify and lead on continuous process improvements within the People and Culture
team.
› Support the Director of People and Culture with the delivery of wider projects.
For this role you will need
› Track record of delivering outcomes and influencing senior stakeholders
› Evidence of customer/people centricity and cultural change
› Strong HR / People / Change background
› Commercial acumen and understanding of Financial Services Industry
› Depth of one or more HR specialisms i.e Leadership Development, Recruitment, Learning
› Working knowledge of Jersey’s Employment Law
› Experience of leading and developing others
› Excellent IT skills, including advanced use of Word, Excel and Outlook
› Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
