University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Looking for Working ORP Retiree – Faculty Full Time
Campus participates in clinical service for the Colorado Genetics Laboratory. This 20% FTE, hourly position is not eligible for
benefits.
Major Functions:
- Provide independent case review and interpretation of clinical fluorescence in situ
hybridization, array comparative genomic hybridization, and cytogenetic analyses - Provide consultation with physician clients
- Interact with Colorado Genetics Laboratory staff regarding clinical case results

Requirements:
- MD or PhD degree
- Current Board certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics in
Clinical Cytogenetics and maintenance of Board certification throughout employment - 10 or more years of experience reviewing,
interpreting and signing out fluorescence in situ hybridization, chromosomal microarray, and prenatal, postnatal, and oncology chromosome
analyses
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Director of a full-service (FISH,
chromosomal microarray, and prenatal, postnatal and oncology chromosome analysis) clinical cytogenetics laboratory

The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of
possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
