Job Title:Associate Business Systems Analyst
Department:Arts and Sciences | Center for Career and Professional Success
The Associate Business Systems Analyst serves as a subject matter expert for the university’s Career Management tool Handshake or equivalent resource. Specific activities include managing and maintaining Handshake or equivalent access and accounts, training core users on key features, and presenting on Handshake or equivalent features at events. They will be collecting requested Handshake or equivalent data as needed, collaborating with Career Success staff members for resource coverage, and working with academic and student service departments to increase awareness and utilization of Handshake or equivalent resource. The Associate Business Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying new and emerging technologies, providing recommendations to enhance Career Success services and achieve College-wide integration. They will serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationship management, including initial contract negotiation, advocating for specific user experience enhancements, and ensuring quality constituent service. The Analyst will work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to complete ad hoc website edits and create educational Handshake marketing collateral. They will be responsible for building relationships with key academic departments to advance the utilization of the Center for Career and Professional Success. This position includes some weekend and evening work.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, business, or an appropriate discipline in the Arts and Sciences. Demonstrated ability to learn and train others how to use new technologies; experience giving presentations in medium to large group settings; previous experience with Microsoft Office suite including significant proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to prioritize workload with an emphasis in being able to take initiative and work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
Desired: One-year previous professional experience working in an office environment.

The pay range for this job profile is $22.16 – $29.54. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
