Job Summary/Objective
The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for event-based administrative processing around enrollments/changes to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA and FSA plan participations. “Events” triggering enrollment/changes include a) new hires; b) terminations; c) benefits annual open enrollment; d) mid-year family status changes; and e) employee status transfers. This includes counseling employees, collecting documents, creating files, recording transactions in ADP, updating online carrier eligibility systems and filing. The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for managing all leaves of absences for FMLA, NYPFL, LTD and all other LOAs upon request, from beginning to end. Managing includes coordination with employees, managers and payroll to ensure an open flow of communication.
