Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist, Operations (Corporate Recruiter)
Position type: Full-Time
Compensation: Salaried, $65,000-$74,000
Location: Willow Grove or King of Prussia, PA. Hybrid work schedule available with supervisor approval.
Responsibilities:
Staff Recruitment:
Develops and implements recruiting strategies to meet staffing demands for BII’s administrative/operations team
Coordinates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
Proactively sources and recruits active and passive candidates by using job posting sites, career pages, databases, social media, etc. to build a robust candidate pipeline
Plans interview and selection procedures. Screens candidates.
Acts as liaison between the candidate and the hiring manager. Shares vetted candidate applications with managers; sets up candidate interviews with managers; obtains feedback; extends job offers or sends rejection letters. Conducts reference checks.
Maintains accurate records of applicant and interview data using ATS.
Manages career center in HRIS
Creates and provides recruiting reports
Organizes and attends job fairs, open houses, and other recruiting events
Ensures all recruiting and hiring is done according to employment laws and regulations.
Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
New Hire Onboarding:
Working with HR team members, develops and implements onboarding procedures
Supports candidates through the onboarding process
Processes and maintains employee paperwork in HRIS
Coordinates employee orientations and training
Establishes resources for new hires including ID badges, company accounts, etc.
Completes onboarding surveys and interviews to assess the employee’s experience
Seeks opportunities to improve employee hiring and onboarding experiences and efficiencies. Streamlines procedures. Submits to or discusses improvement recommendations with HR team members and leadership, including relevant information to support informed decision making.
Manages employee exit procedures:
Completes exit interviews
Ensures accurate and timely completion of all exit procedures
Maintains accurate records of employee terminations in HRIS
Provides general support to the HR team:
Updates offer letters for internal candidates as applicable (i.e., for promotions, compensation increases, etc.)
Maintains current knowledge and supports the dissemination of information on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws.
Interprets, communicates, and advises on HR policies, procedures, laws, or regulations under the guidance of the HR director and employee relations manager.
Assists with employee’s ongoing experience with the organization in collaboration with supervisors and the HR team. Responds timely to employee inquiries by connecting them with the appropriate resources (i.e., policies, procedures, other team members)
Provides project support. Performs other assignments as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or other relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education
Minimum of two (2) years of full-cycle corporate recruitment experience
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to recruitment, hiring and onboarding.
A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
Willingness to travel to company offices and recruitment locations throughout New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Creative, organized, and able to work independently and within teams
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient in computer tools and software including MS Office, ADP or other HRIS system, Applicant Tracking System. Proficient in social media use
