YOH Services LLC Looking for Payroll Accountant – ONSITE CONTRACT at Portland, OR  Full Time

Our end client is in need of a Payroll Tax Accountant for a 6+ month ONSITE CONTRACT
opportunity. Position is first shift with a minimum of 40 hours/week with Overtime available but not required. Pay rate RANGE is $32-46/hr W2 – No C2C or 1099 NO EXCEPTIONS! Position IS benefits eligible.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Overseeing and preparing all required federal, state, and local tax filings, researching and monitoring payroll compliance issues, and planning and implementing the tax updates to the payroll system and the maintenance of and upgrades to the payroll tax filing system.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, human resource, information technology or a related field. (Typically, six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor’s degree) HIGHLY DESIRED.
• CCP/CPC Certification HIGHLY DESIRED.
• 5-7 years of experience processing remittances and handling tax payroll responsibilities in large volumes across several states REQUIRED.
• Intermediate level Excel skills REQUIRED.
• Experience using ERP systems to handle payroll taxes (i.e. SAP OnPremise, SAP ERP, etc.) REQUIRED.
