The Executive Director of Human Resources
is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of HR services at Yakima Valley College,
balancing obligations to the college and obligations to the well-being of our employees. This is a 12-month full-time administrative
position that includes a full benefits package. This position is responsible for oversight of day-to-day HR functions, payroll,
benefits administration, recruitment, employee training and development, and annual performance evaluations, compliance, employee relations
and the employee handbook. The Executive Director of HR for YVC also serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator and
investigates and resolves Title IX complaints. YVC offers opportunities for collaboration with labor partners to support student success at
every level of the organization.

1. A bachelor’s or advanced degree in Human Resources or similar
discipline
2. At least two (2) years of labor relations experience
3. At least three (3) years of progressively
responsible full-time exempt level human resources management experience
