Summary:
The Junior Marketing Associate is responsible for providing support to the creative department.
This person will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter).
He/She will be responsible for engaging and monitoring WCA social media sites and utilizing scheduling tools and marketing software to ensure our social media presence is relevant and timely.
The Junior Marketing Associate will also interact with other WCA departments, customers, and clients in order to cultivate relationships by maintaining constant communication and assisting in building marketing strategies and campaigns.
Other duties include:
Assist the creative department with memorable and customized direct mail marketing campaigns.
Work closely with the Creative dept.
to ensure the proper implementation of marketing campaigns.
Assist department with maintaining WCA social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.
Monitor and engage on WCA social media platforms in order to expand our social media reach.
This includes being active on the platforms by liking, commenting and engaging with other healthcare industry influencers.
Make recommendations & changes based on your observations while monitoring social media insights.
Write and edit content for cross-channel campaigns, websites, blogs, as well as email marketing and social media campaigns.
Build rapport with local press publications in order to get media/press coverage for WCA.
Stay up-to-date with social media best practices and trends, and use your creative mind to keep social media presence engaging and relevant.
Plan WCA social posts across multiple social media accounts and platforms using a social media scheduling tool.
Utilize email marketing software in order to generate email campaigns.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A degree in marketing, communications, writing, or design works or equivalent work experience.
Two years of social media marketing is required, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Has an understanding of copywriting and press releases.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional community outreach skills are a plus.
Experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
Knowledge on how to shoot videos, edit, and utilization of motion graphics is a plus.
Knowledge of graphic design using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is a plus.

Experience with Social Media Ad Campaigns and Management (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, etc ) Fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus in accordance with Federal CDC and State/Local regulatory guidance.
