Job title: Worth It – Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Operations and Executive Director

General Description

The Worth It County Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of various Worth It sessions, along with the supervision of volunteers. The County Coordinator is responsible for making and maintaining meaningful connections with county specific service providers. They serve as the liaison between service providers and participants, and work to develop a comprehensive network of services for each participant. This is a full time salaried position. Most work will be completed remotely but active Worth It sessions require the Coordinator to be on site.

Duties and responsibilities

Management

• Locate and secure a safe location for Worth It sessions
• Develop the class curriculum specific to the services offered in their county.
• Invite and schedule professional presenters from the area service providers along with area law enforcement and prosecutors.
• Prepare any hard copy curriculum for each class along with properly collecting and inputting data collected from each Worth It participant
• Oversee spending for session expenses and track miles for monthly reimbursement reports.
• Maintain the necessary staff members and volunteer involvement to provide participants with effective and meaningful programing
• Review data collected from Worth It participants and presenters in order to best evaluate and adjust programing, allowing for the most effective curriculum and connection to the most needed services.

Participant Oversight

• Develop Individual Service Plan (ISP) with each participant and follow-up with participants to monitor progress and update treatment plans set forth in the ISP
• Assist participants to obtain needed services and benefits and monitor ongoing needs or problems to ensure that participants continue to receive needed services.
• Communicate regularly with outside service providers to learn of new services offered or old services being discontinued

Communication

• Maintain regular communication with staff and volunteers to ensure effective operation of the program
• Follow-up with and thank service providers and presenters for their participation
• Follow-up with any new presenters to get their feedback on the program and any recommendations they may have to make the program more effective in their specific county
• Maintain daily communication with Presenters and Volunteers concerning scheduling of the Worth It class, meals and transportation
• Receive and process referral applications to the Worth It program

Reporting

• Provide client progress updates to supervisor upon request
• Provide program updates at weekly check-in meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling or related field preferred
• Knowledge of/experience with trauma-informed care and/or case management
• Experience with case management practices and recordkeeping
• Knowledge of/experience with principles of Empowerment, Strength-Based skills, and knowledge of Trauma, PTSD, and Complex Trauma
• Experience with problem solving, conflict resolution and crisis management
• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Competent in professional reporting and communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
