OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

The ideal candidate for the role is a flexible problem solver with excellent communications skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Multitasking and the unique ability to manage the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position.
The Office Administrator will provide technical and administrative support to the WHA’s Administration Office. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the office administrator will also include assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The candidate must perform responsibilities of a confidential nature, work independently, and provide follow up on various projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
SUPERVISION:
The candidate works under the general supervision of the Finance Director. The incumbent exercises initiative and good individual judgement. The Office Administrator provides no supervision to others.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The duties of this position are primarily office-based and require manual dexterity sufficient to competently use office equipment such as a keyboard or calculator. From time to time, the holder of this position will be required to conduct site visits which would include the ability to traverse over a¼ mile at a time and to use stairs. Duties related to maintenance of files would require bending, stooping, and lifting.
