POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Generalist will focus on Culture, Worker’s Compensation, Employee Relations and LOA programs (FMLA, STD, LTD) along with being independently resourceful, a problem-solver, and a receptive listener who knows how to contribute to collaborative efforts.
The HR Generalist works closely with the HR Director to execute People Strategies at our nine operating sites. The HR Generalist acts as the main point of contact for queries on HR-related topics.

Identifying problem employee relations areas that impede organizational progress; recommends appropriate interventions and/or other corrective actions as needed.
Conducts employee investigations.
Interprets policies and procedures to employees and managers, guides staff in accordance with organizational policies.
Advises and assists management in responding to team member issues and concerns by interpreting applicable HR policies and procedures by making responsible recommendations. Provides employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.
Ensures positions are graded and leveled appropriately.
Uses Project Management methods to lead projects within ATL or that cross over multiple facilities.
Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Assists, motivates and coaches HR Team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s preferred.
5+ years in HR experience.
Human Resources Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe applications.
Solid track record of successfully implementing WC programs and initiatives.
