This position will report to the Meal Preparation business that is now known as Winland Foods, Inc owned by Investindustrial. Job Summary:

Responsible for the daily operating system of a press including initiating changeover and die changes, monitoring lines to check transfer points to ensure product quality and temperature/humidity, troubleshoot to perform basic repairs of equipment and adjust pressed, dryers and bulk-handling systems to specifications.

This individual must possess good mechanical skills and be able to demonstrate their ability to produce quality products at levels that will allow the plant to meet or exceed its goals and objectives.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills

• The successful candidate must have:
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food manufacturing)
• have a HS diploma or GED.
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• good communication skills,
• ability to use computer terminals,
• complete basic math, especially using a tape measure to measure length
• lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in an environment that is above 90°F for extended periods of time
