Position Summary
The Senior Director of Regional Advancement, NE, is a
senior member of the regional advancement team in the Office of University Advancement at William & Mary. The Senior Director has
responsibilities to support both the university and the William & Mary Foundation (WMF) to maximize philanthropy in support of strategic
priorities and core activities across the university.
The Senior Director of Regional Advancement, NE works closely with
the Executive Director of Regional Advancement to plan and coordinate the advancement strategy for New York City and the t Northeast US from
Philadelphia to Boston. As the market leader and point person responsible for planning, implementing and supervising a regionally focused
strategy for William & Mary ‘s principal, major, planned and leadership gift prospects and donors in NYC Metro and throughout the Northeast,
collaborating with colleagues across campus and working closely with top volunteers, the Senior Director has annually established aggressive
goals to promote university priorities and secure gifts for William & Mary.
The successful Senior Director will be a
proactive and collaborative member of this dynamic development team and a champion for diversity and equity as William & Mary builds on its
success and continues planning for its next campaign. This position is based in our New York office and is expected to work in the office
there, eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
