Supervision Received: The Title IX Coordinator reports to the Associate Vice President, Human Resources.
Supervision Exercised: Supervises the Compliance Programs Investigator.
Salary: $83,000-$86,500 (To commensurate with education and experience)
General Statement of Duties: The Title IX Coordinator has primary responsibility for managing the responsibilities associated with the University’s compliance obligations pursuant to Title IX. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide substantial support for the advancement of equal opportunity in consultation with the AVPHR.
The Coordinator occupies an important leadership role in working across divisions and departments to assist the University in achieving its goals of promoting an open, diverse, and inclusive learning and working environment. The Coordinator serves as a skilled communicator who can reach across institutional lines to build strong partnerships, inspire and facilitate collaboration, and advise and influence academic and administrative leaders at all levels on relevant guidelines and regulations.
Specifically, the Coordinator will monitor and maintain compliance with Title IX regulations and requirements while also contributing to the implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of the University’s Equal Opportunity Plan. The Coordinator will also partner with the Benefits team to ensure timely responses to requests for ADA accommodations. The position provides leadership, collaboration, and coordination with departments and campus stakeholders in support of intakes, investigations, education, and training.

Salary:
For the majority of new employees, the minimum starting salary will apply. Specific salary for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining and state policies and procedures.
