Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary
Timeframe: 1 Semester Sabbatical Replacement
Supervision Received: Reports to the Department Chair
The department of Chemical and Physical Sciences seeks an instructor to serve as a sabbatical replacement and teach the second semester of a typical one-year organic chemistry sequence. The well-qualified candidate will have a doctorate in organic chemistry or closely related field and teaching experience at the college or university level. Candidates who are ABD or who possess a masters in organic chemistry will also be considered. The teaching load consists of one lecture section that meets three days per week.
General Statement of Duties: Teach one lecture of Organic Chemistry II for the Spring 2024 semester.

Salaries for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining agreements as well as state policies.
