The Learning Assistance and Resource Center provides academic support through tutoring and academic success coaching services to promote independent and active learners at West Chester University. The Student Success Coordinator collaborates with Admissions, Summer Bridge Programs, Academic Departments, Exploratory Academic Advising, Block Scheduling, LARC, Academic Affairs, and other University units to offer student success initiatives to all WCU students.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, the desire to listen to concerns and provide the appropriate solutions with courtesy and respect to students; competence working with and among diverse student populations including minority students, at-risk, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and faculty across different university constituencies.
