Wentworth
Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as Director, Internal
Communication
This is a newly created role in which you lead the creation of an institute wide communications strategy, and
then manage and operationalize a new framework and process to bring this strategy to life across the university. You will be a lead
architect in the development and thinking around new and existing internal communications channels, and how they connect with external
communications. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping company culture and establishing best practices for internal communications
across the university.
The Director will create and manage our key internal communications processes and create a
calendar to deliver important communications across the organization. You will collaborate with others to deploy and orchestrate a
coordinated set of consistent communications across the university.
The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized,
capable of managing numerous, complex projects and work streams end-to-end, with a keen sense of prioritization and ability to listen and
collaborate effectively across teams. You are a creative problem-solver who can see the big picture and will make suggestions for how to
improve our existing internal communications tools and channels.
This role will report directly to the Associate Vice
President, Marketing and Communications, and interact with many leaders and individuals across the
university.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Work Experience Required: 5 – 8 years of Internal Communications experience
Minimum Knowledge
Required
Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex, difficult and/or
unprecedented situations.
