Job Description Summary
Wentworth
Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as an Assistant Director of Clubs &
Organizations.
Reporting to the Director of Student Engagement, the Assistant Director of Clubs & Organizations contributes
to the operations and services of the office through club advising, program management, and student development. The major responsibilities
for the Assistant Director include managing the operations for student clubs and organizations, coordinating registration and recognition,
managing financial & club management software operations, assisting with budget oversight, directly advising the Student Organization
Council, and updating, editing, and distributing the Student Organization Manual. The Assistant Director directly advises all academic
student organizations and special interest clubs.

Minimum Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Work Experience Required: 1 – 3 years
Preferred
Work Experience: 2 – 4 years
Minimum Knowledge Required
Working knowledge of concepts, practices
and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
Preferred Knowledge
Comprehensive knowledge of
theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations.
