The President’s Office seeks candidates who possess the following attributes: superior organizational skills; ability to effectively communicate with students, faculty, staff, trustees, and visitors; and demonstrated strong commitment to customer service. The preferred candidate is approachable, detail-oriented, highly organized, and efficient in maintaining organizational systems; professional in demeanor and handles confidential matters with utmost discretion; has excellent priority-setting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; can ensure timely and appropriate follow-up and, as appropriate, independently take appropriate initiative to trouble-shoot issues or ask for assistance as necessary. The preferred candidate has earned a B.A./B.S. degree and has previous work experience as an executive assistant in an educational setting and/or in a chief executive’s office.
