Required Qualifications:
An
earned Ph.D. in Political Science (ABD with an anticipated December 2022 graduation date considered). The ideal candidate will be a
broadly trained political scientist who is capable and willing to teach across a wide spectrum of courses. While the search is somewhat open
with regard to specific focus, areas of particular need for our program are courses in public law, American government, and public
administration/policy. Candidates should have a strong background in at least one of those areas, and a capability/willingness to teach
introductory courses in research methods and social statistics across the social sciences, along with providing courses in our Master of
Organizational Management/Public Affairs program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in
teaching (both in class and online) and in research/scholarship, and experience in effectively using technology to facilitate student
learning and to expand student access preferred.
