As part of Watterson’s service to our national clients, Watterson is seeking an experienced director of IT to provide support informational technology to the company and to engage in additional operational activities to support our growth. This individual will work closely with the executive leadership team to coordinate and manage cross-organizational activities. The incumbent will coordinate gathering and preparation of materials for Board meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees all IT operations including staff and vendors
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives
• Develop RFP’s, lead vendor selection processes, negotiate contracts and manage vendors
• Liaise with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements
• Maintain existing technology systems
• Identify vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement
• Propose strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software
• Prepare financial budgets and performance reports
• Build and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors
• Ensure reported issues are resolved in a timely manner

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology field
• At least 10 years of experience in an IT environment focused on significant upgrade of technology systems and processes
• At least 5 years of management experience in an IT environment transforming and implementing the IT infrastructure including implementation of ERP, Financial and HRIS systems
• Proven experience selecting and managing vendors
• Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
