Summary of Duties:
WSU seeks postdoctoral researchers with knowledge and skills related to synthesis and regulation of grass cell walls and metabolites, including understanding the molecular structure and architecture of plant cell walls, nutritional benefits of dietary polysaccharides, and use of molecular genetics and systems biology to examine bioenergy crop and model grass stem and root development.

Annual Salary:
$45,387.00 – $50,000.00 | Selected candidates are typically hired between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.

This is a temporary position expected to end March 31, 2025. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
