Summary of Duties:
The Research Analyst is responsible for performing data analysis work and support to include organizing, designing, coordinating, and/or compiling data and information for program’s internship requirements, reports, surveys, and ad hoc requests.
This position assists with program plans in consultation with the Internship Coordinator and/or Director, identifying subject matter; assisting with tasks, time-lines; process and procedures; and conducts web-based research for data support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree including college level course work in statistics and/or mathematics AND one (1) year of experience working as a Data Consultant 1 or equivalent OR equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
College level course work in data analytics, science, and statistics may be substituted for the educational requirement.

Half time Monthly Salary: Range 46 | $1941.50 to $2607.00 (Step A – M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.WSU offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes: paid sick and vacation leave; paid holidays; medical, dental, life and disability insurance package for employees and dependents; retirement; deferred compensation and optional supplemental retirement accounts.
