Summary of Duties:
As an Administrative Trainee, this position will explore careers in alumni relations, fundraising, communications and marketing, events, and advancement services. Receives training for, and assists with, administration, planning, and management of advancement projects, events, and donor prospects. This includes, but not limited to, event and meeting coordination, project management, organizing files and documents, email correspondence, and Gift Use Agreements.
Required Qualifications:
Two years of experience as Administrative Trainee or a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience with Call-A-Coug, the WSU Alumni Association, the WSU Foundation, or other development related department.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 programs.

Monthly Salary: Range 35 $3,006 to $3,974 (Steps A – M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Temporary End Date: This is a project position expected to end on December 31, 2024. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
